About the Project

What is Pulp Friction?

Pulp Friction is a classic point-and-click adventure game in the style of LucasArts golden era titles likeMonkey Island,Day of the Tentacle, andFull Throttle.

"Hi, I'm Jordi Capdevila. I want to become a civil servant."

Set in contemporary Barcelona, it follows Jordi's absurd quest for the ultimate job security: a government position. The tone is satirical, grounded, and ironic—a city where everyone is busy pretending.

🎯 The Vision

Adventure games taught me to think creatively, to combine unlikely items, to talk to everyone, and to never give up on a puzzle. I want to bring that experience to a new generation while honoring the classics.

Pulp Friction aims to be:

  • ✅ A complete, polished adventure (not a demo or proof-of-concept)
  • ✅ Commercially released on Steam
  • ✅ Controller-friendly for Steam Deck
  • ✅ Localized in Spanish and English
  • ✅ Made with transparent, documented development
